Design Notes

In order to synthesise indigodine dye from C.glutamicum, the conversion of indigodine pigment from glutamine and glutamate can be done by inserting bpsA gene, which produces blue-pigment indigoidine synthetase, into the C.glutamicum DNA. Using tac inducible promoter, with E.coli as an intermediate vector of plasmid, the production of indigodine dye can be made controllable, and can be produced in large scale.
